Creating fantastic visualizations is in our DNA.

On this page we have listed the most common questions that often occur before we develop a 3D project.

If you are interested in working with us but you still have a question, do not hesitate to call us and we will look for an effective solution.

Getting Started

How do we start?

Contact DNA |visual-design to let us know what your needs are. Indicate the characteristics of your project and the number of images or the length of the video you need. Better but not essential to fill in a brief form at:

Form 3D-Still
Form Animation
Form Virtual Reality

Before we make a quotation, we need clarity about the budget, the exact size and content of the project. The more detailed instructions you can give, the more efficient it will be for us to deliver exactly what you need.
Now you can send us an e-mail to info@dnavisualdesign.com or call us on 0185 1304 228

What information do you need from us to get started?

All information you have about the project is useful. If you have 3D files, elevation maps, landscape/light plans and finishes, that’s great! But if you only have hand-drawn floor plans or a rough sketch, that is fine as well. We can work with almost everything, but the more information you can provide, the better we understand each other.

Confidentiality & Copyright

Is my data secure?

We follow non-disclosure norms with strict adherence. We also sign Non-Disclosure Agreements with firms on request and all our employees. We take whatever means necessary to protect the secrecy of data, images, and information that are the properties of our clients.

Can I get any client references?

There are a number of references from our clients on our website. These clients have given permission to mention their company name.

Can I get references for my specific project?

DNA |visual-design is a successful visualization studio and works on different projects – interior and exterior, garden and landscape, architecture and urban design. We can generally provide a reference for your specific project.

Who owns the render after it is completed?

DNA |visual-design owns the render, but the image is licensed to the client after full payment. The client can fully use the image as desired. We only ask you credit us if the image is published somewhere.

What’s your payment method?

In principle, especially for new clients, an advance of 50% is required prior to the work and 50% at the delivery of the project. We understand that every project is different and we can adapt to any client and the scope of the project. Send us an e-mail or call us and suggest a different payment method based on your unique need.

How do you accept payment?

We accept payment via bank transfer.

What is your approach to visualization?

After years of experience in creating 3D graphic projects, we have developed a flexible and highly efficient workflow, through which the client participates in all development stages. We make the 3D geometry of the project for approval, then apply the textures and materials, wait for confirmation from the client and finally give maximum realism with photographic quality for final approval. The client participates in all the processes to avoid errors and surprises with regard to the end result.

How do you organize work?

Usually the projects are presented to you in a number of phases.
1. Inventory and analyze. What information has been provided and is it usable? What is the location and context of the project? What information do we need to have or produce ourselves?
2. Modeling drafts to confirm the model.
3. Confirm viewing angle. We can now show you what the viewpoints are.
4. Once the viewpoints are confirmed, we can apply the materials. This is done based on supplied product specifications or descriptions in the plan. Also (specific) plants, people and animals are fitted into this phase. Rendering drafts in low resolution to confirm general feel.
5. Delivery in high resolution where you receive the final image with the logo of your company if desired.

In order to serve our clients better in the future, we always evaluate and reflect each project when it is completed. DNA |visual-design will send a survey a week after delivery to include all feedback.

What file types can you accept?

We can accept most file types like: .MAX, .SKP, .FBX, .OBJ, .3DS, .3DM, .RVT, .STL,. DAE, DWG

What if our plans change after you have started rendering?

We understand that things change, and we are open to accommodate these changes. A revision within reason is already included in our estimate. Depending on where we are in the process and how extensive the changes are, these will only be charged based on the extra work.

Do you have an office in our city? Can you send someone to our office for a preliminary discussion about the project?

Our head office is located in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. In principle, especially for new clients, we agree to get to know the project and to go through the project prior to the assignment. We can do this at your office or via Skype.
All other communication is mainly digital. You needn’t have any qualms in this regard, as we will establish the best possible online communication channel with you.

Who will I communicate with during the process?

The project manager assists you throughout the process. The project manager is the one who handles all communication and is the link between the client and the team of DNA |visual-design.

Will we get to see the work you are doing before the final product?

We care about representing your vision and designs as accurately as possible. Most projects are presented to you in different phases. In between, there is opportunity to review and communicate.

How do you work with a company in another country without having any direct meeting?

We will be keeping in contact with you throughout the project, via file exchange, e-mail, Skype, and phone, you will feel like we are working right next to you. We can serve customers all over the world and are used to work digital. We have executed a number of successful projects by working in this method.
